The New Jim Code is really just modern racial discrimination as Benjamin says there are biased algorithms in hiring that are biased against non-whites and women. She also explains how police will use AI to predict where crimes might occur and the algorithms that the AI rely on.
  2. There have also been studies that show people misidentify people that are non-white. Algorithms may increase racial and gender bias and the algorithms are not fixed so it continues to do it.

  4. AI can be used for college admissions and the Algorithm can be biased against certain types of people applying. They may be looking for people with higher incomes, it may reject many students for just being straight white males, etc. This example proves that AI can be biased against certain people.
  5. There can be bias towards The Axis in World War II, especially towards Nazi Germany as AI algorithms may be trained to denounce the crimes the Nazi committed. There also may be more bad posters shown on The Axis side versus The Allies side.
